Two-week-long festival of theatre, music, exhibitions, street theatre, literary and children’s events.

The Galway Arts Festival is the Republic of Ireland's largest multi-disciplinary Arts Festival which takes place in Galway City each July.

One of the highlights is "The Macnas Parade" which takes place on Sunday, 18th July, at 15.00 on the city centre streets and is entitled "Betty Big Shoes".
